Snowshoe Games
George likes to play with me (both of us actually). One day he hid behind the bedding which was draped over the foot of the bed. An impromptu game ensued where I would look into the tunnel created by the bedding and George would charge out at me, run around me without touching and reenter the tunnel on the other end and wait for me to poke my head in again.
Now he is ready any time to play this game with either of us. If we walk in the general direction of the bedroom he trots ahead of us and hides, and waits. He never tires of playing. After a while a second bedroom game developed, using the bedspread on top of the bed. George is the hunter and a human hand under the bedspread is the quarry. The hand and fingers slide around under the bedspread, occasionally poking out to tease George, who gently nips and grabs at his quarry, sometimes fishing under the covers. He can play this game (Wildebeest) for hours it seems.
